Saying 'Obama needs to cut him loose," is a plain effort to claim that Obama is somehow responsible for this character's words. Obama who knew people would associate him with this so he stepped up immediately and condemned these words.
Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee. Pretending he isn't as an excuse to attack him is cheap bullshit. Lives depend on the Democrats taking back the White House and these people intentionally undermining the Democratic nominee because they're angry their candidate didn't win are freakin disgusting. They don't represent Hillary's supporters, the vast majority of whom are good Democrats and want Obama to win the White House.

Well it looks like Obama has left his church. This was the correct move, IMO, even though some people will see it as political pandering. In any case, this, as well as his reiteration that the comments "totally conflict with my long-held views" closes the issue for me.

Why? She awkwardly paraphrased an AP article that noted her growing popularity among blue-collar white voters. You choose to impute ugliness into what she was thinking, but she was simply trying to clarify the nature of her support among blue-collar workers, because AA blue-collar workers, like all AA voters, are solidly behind Obama, but the rest of working-class America isn't. She apologized for her ill-phrased remark afterwards. Hillary is actually much better with this apology business than Obama, who lets his close associates cr*p all over Hillary and then afterwards never feels the need to apologize to her, but always mouths some BS about how so-and-so doesn't represent then tenor of his campaign. Yeah, right. Good luck selling that line to voters in the GE.

I did notice that Hillary was not asked to denounce Ed Rendell, who gave a half hour flowery praise speech about Rev. Farrakhan to his face, which is posted on YouTube. You didn't ask her to denounce Rendell, although you did ask O to denounce Rev. F. This is way beyond hypocrisy, but is an announcement that O can never ever meet your standards of whatever.

Obama has not done enough and that's why Hillary is more electable.

BO has been friends with this man for 20 years. He had Wright as his 'spiritual advisor' for 20 years. A news release abandoning them does not make those 20 years just go away.
